Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane DAY 2

Ballerina-esk models swanned down the runway in tutu inspired gowns by Begitta, with pointe shoes in hand to open the emerging designers show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane last night. The show highlights emerging talent in design from South East Queensland and gives up and coming designers a chance to make a name for themselves in the industry. Of the nine labels on show, it is clear that some of these young visionaries are set for huge careers in fashion. The same recurring themes of white, black, and blue were seen as was at the Myer spring/summer 15 show on Monday but some truly stunning prints were used by a few of the designers, including Erin Hassall who closed the show.

Interesting arm hole designs were seen in A Jacksonian Era‘s collection. I think this is going to be a big trend for S/S 15.

I also really love this combination. Who doesn’t love a little ruffle skirt!

Gorgeous designs by Suzii K.

Silk ensembles from Anna Hulm.

Peony Swimwear.

Erin Hassall‘s stunning collection of prints.

And finally, my outfit of the night. I really just wanted to wear these red sequined heels or my ‘Dorothy’s’ as I call them!

Tomorrow morning I will have a wrap from what I expect will be my favourite show of the week, the Brisbane Arcade show.
