Watt journalists wear

Today is a very special day for me, today I have my first job as a real (paid!) ย news journalist. My first story is to cover the Chatsworth Law & Order Forum…not bad for someone who’s only just begun their second year of a journalism degree, right? I’ve worked for other publications before but only as a freelance writer/contributor, never as a news journalist so I’m pretty excited. I must admit however the moment I found out I got the job I had my very own ‘Elle Woods’ moment and instead of thinking what angle I might take my first story or what I will be writing about, my mind immediately moved to, ‘Watt To Wear?!?’ While I might be entering the world of serious stuff, that doesn’t mean I can’t take a bit of my true self with me and I intend to do that through my dress. This outfit was inspired by a picture I saw on the internet of an incredibly chic business woman and I hope it conveys professionalism and style. Wish me luck for my first story!
