ASK TARYN: Dresses for over 30’s under $100

Q: Could you do a blog post on dresses/little black dress/clothes for women in their 30’s for under $100 please?

My credit card and your blog are going to have issues…..I think I NEED to own just about every dress that you posted! As a 30-something year old, I think you have nailed it in this blog!!

Love all the dresses you found! Where is the black panelled dress from?

    • Taryn Watt says:

Thank you, I’m glad you liked them and I hope I was able to help 🙂 The black panelled dress is off Asos. If you haven’t bought of there before I highly recommend it. Free postage that arrives quickly, you can use pay pall, easy returns and I have bought many many times without a problem. I have included links to where you can buy each dress in the name of the dress above the picture, click on that and it will take you straight there. 🙂

Great post! I am certain the “Under 30” dress market it overly saturated. Actually, make that the “Under 25″….

Yay Portmans! I forget about them since the Dunedin (NZ) store closed down a few years back – gutted about it too since it was one of the few stores here I actually shopped at. I see their online store doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for shipping so I’ve become a fan again! 😀 Woo hoo!

    • Taryn Watt says:

Thank you! Aw that’s always such a shame when one of your favourite stores close down but it’s great that they have reasonable postage though, some places charge ridiculous prices which is really disappointing. I really love Portman’s style – they have stylish, quality pieces at reasonable prices which can be really difficult to find. So glad you enjoyed the post, I hope you will pop back again to check out my new posts! 🙂

Clicking on the link, now there’s an idea. Oh dear, can I blame being blonde? I will head back to Portmans I think. I find their clothes to be quite big which sometimes creates a bit of a problem for me but will try there again 🙂 the spotty events dress is also very nice. Do you think jumpsuits are too hot for Qld or should you just suffer for fashion? Too many questions? … Sorry xxx

    • Taryn Watt says:

Never too many questions! Do give Portmans a try again, i’ve found they have really improved recently. Personally I just suffer for fashion but It does depend on the occasion. I’ve personally never had a problem wearing a jumpsuit in QLD though, especially if it is at night. The spotty events dress is actually stunning and events are worth checking out as they have loads of beautiful things in at the moment and are all on sale until Christmas! Any more questions please let me know I love to help 🙂

great selection! I just drove 30 minutes to grab the last Portmans Tropfest Jade Peplum dress in size 8 in Brisbane. It’s gorgeous but now I also want that red River Island dress haha.

  6. Dontriice says:

Hey! How do I order from you

    • Taryn Watt says:

Hi! Unfortunately you can’t order directly from me but if you click on the links I have provided you can order directly from the website 🙂 Hope that helps, let me know if I can help you out with anything else!
